Automatic brazing and drill pipe up to 6 meters and powerful off-road performance reduce rig assist times. Equipped with a large-displacement high-pressure screw air compressor makes the slag discharge thorough, which is more conducive to the significant increase of rock drilling speed and reduces the consumption of drilling tools. The large diameter drill pipe reduces the compressed air required for slag removal. The powerful propulsion and slewing design solves the problem of jamming of complex rock formations on the basis of satisfying high-speed rock drilling. One-man operation reduces labor costs, and large bore drilling reduces the number of holes required. The above features also reduce the number of equipment required in the mine.
A single engine drives both the screw compressor and the hydraulic system, and the power output is designed to be staggered, which reduces the total power by about 30% and the maintenance cost by 50% compared to the split rig diesel engine. The reduction in total power consumption, the increase in drilling speed and the reduction in auxiliary time and the number of drilled holes result in a significant reduction in energy consumption per unit.
